i.e If your maintenance calories are 2000, and your goal is weight loss, then start consuming 1800 calories, from which maximum calories should be from protein.
On the other hand, if your goal is to gain weight and your maintenance calories are 2000, simply start consuming 2200 calories from which maximum calories are from carbohydrates.
